Painless homebirth possible?
I am having baby #3 at the end of the year, and have decided to go for a homebirth. The first one was a very painful long birth that ended up with getting a dose of Stadol just to calm my mind down between contractions (I was terrified). In hindsite, I was taught Lamaze breathing and "prepared" birth for baby #1. The 2nd birth was great, all except for the ride to the hospital, I wanted to kill somebody. I had NO PAIN until I started getting jostled around in the car, and I couldn't concentrate on my deep relaxation techniques, which I learned through the book "Natural Childbirth the Bradley Way." So, I decided this time to just cut out the car ride and give birth at home. I was just wondering is there anyone else out there who has done this, and is transition manageable with deep relaxation?
