Catholic Church: wrongfully persecuted or just investigative reporting?

Some one just called the investigation into corruption in the catholic church "spiritual profiling" What is it when the catholic church targets distant lands for takeover, the lands that have nothing to do with christianity, & have cultures & religions that have been around far longer that even christianity? Let us be happy in coexisting & not trying to take over everything & every one. What happened to the prayer of serenity that the christians so proudly recited not too long ago? We need peace & love, & this kind of thing where the perpetrator claims to be the victim each time he is held accountable for his actions, is definitely not the way of peace & love.
