How do u create a new connection for internet use on a psp??

i got a psp for xmas and i have songs on my windows media player and i tried to put it on my psp and it workd but it says i have to enable wma playback and i went to where i had to go and its asking for a ssid code since no points were found when i tried to scan. any help????
