How do I get my Yahoo IM's to work properly?

For a long time I have been a regular chatter in yahoo messenger and for a long time I see these fake people (aka bots) taking up all the space for real chatters it doesn't make any sense why this has been going on for so long, and now I am unable to get into a chatt room cause of these bots, these bots are pretty much useless spouting that no body wants while in conversation with a group, and another thing how do I find a person that has been playing their music and mute them?
