False claims of stalking and delusions of persecution?

Sounds to me like typical schizophrenia-esque (but don't get me wrong - not schizophrenia) paranoia. People who already have tendencies like "delusion of persecution" probably feel very vulnerable on the World Wide Web, where they may feel that many eyes are watching them at once or they are exposed to faceless and nameless individuals they cannot trust.
